Many people use the Internet to generate extra income, and this extra
income can be earned by putting Internet ads to use. Combining free
Internet ads with an affiliate marketing venture offers a low-cost, and
usually free, method of making money online. Affiliate marketing allows
you to make a commission--often ranging from 10 to 75 percent--on other
people's products. With this money-making activity, you'll need to make a
time commitment and have perseverance.
Instructions
1. Find a product to sell in your Internet ads. Create a product yourself,
such as an ebook, digital ecourse or shippable informational CD/DVD. You
may also search for an affiliate product to advertise and promote. Go
to an affiliate marketplace such as ClickBank, PayDotCom or Commission
Junction. Look through the product listings to determine which one you
want to promote and sell through Internet ads.
2. Register as an affiliate for the product you want to promote. Decide on a
user ID and password for your affiliate account. Copy your affiliate
link, which is the URL you will advertise to generate sales. This
special link tracks how many sales you generate and the total amount of
your commissions.
